Twilight Connemara Cottage Original Painting

This is an original acrylic painting. It measures 9x12" and is gallery wrapped. No frame is required.Each painting comes with a storycard that that gives an explanation of the subject. The paintings are very dimensional due to the mixed media technique I use. I start with a palette knife and modeling paste, when the base of my painting is built up I paint the entire canvas a dark blue. Then I begin the actual painting of the canvas in acrylic paints. They are all individually painted and thus every one os a little different. They look great hung in small groupings.

consisting of one or two rooms
- heated by a turf fire. The
thatched roof was made from
reeds grown around lakes all
over Ireland. They provide a long
lasting waterproof roof often
for more than 50 years.
